A Community Effort​

The Tweeds Holiday Home Tour thrives because of the many businesses, homeowners, artisans, musicians, volunteers, and supporters who generously share their talents for the good of Teller County. The Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the 2025 Tour a success.

2025 Home Tour at a Glance

Our post‑event survey asked, “What did we do right?” Attendees shared thoughtful and enthusiastic feedback:

• “Well planned & marketed event! Good brochure. Nice hosts. Having owners present was a bonus.” — Cascade

• “Lots of variety. Music was a great touch.” — Aurora

• “Great advertisement. Decorating was fabulous. Fitting for each home.” — Woodland Park

• “Everything! Rest stops & food are a great help. Homes were fabulous!” — Florissant

• “Fine houses and great community.” — Highlands Ranch

• “Variety of homes—log cabin, elegant, modern, etc.—and the music.” — Colorado Springs

Financial Impact
The 2025 Tour generated net proceeds of $30,994. Revenue sources included:

• Business and individual sponsorships

• Ticket sales

• Tour Artisan net income

• Trim A Tree and Silent Auction proceeds

• Quilters Above the Clouds raffle

• Gift of Giving contributions

 

The Home Tour retains 10% of proceeds for replacement items such as banners, signage, garland, and trees.

On January 7, 2026, a record‑breaking $28,000 was distributed equally to our four Teller County beneficiaries:

• FaithfulHearts Equine Learning Center

• Teller Senior Coalition

• Teller Trail Team

• Woodland Park Senior Organization
